Night of nights!

Check out the Girl Power! Meet Katie Crane, Me, Ali Watts and Belinda Byrne.
I had an amazing book launch in Hobart last Thursday. Thank you to all of you who came along to share in the celebrations of the launch of my new book, The Cattleman’s Daughter, which has sailed to the Number Five bestseller spot according to last weekend’s Sydney Morning Herald!
I was overwhelmed by the words of praise that came during the speeches for my books and the impact they’ve had on people’s lives.
Rural Youth Vice-president, Katie Crane’s speech gave me goosebumps and my publisher, Ali Watts of Penguin Books brought a tear to my eye. It was also so special to have my editor, and friend, Belinda Byrne fly in with Ali from Melbourne. Thanks girls!

Hi Rachael, I did know where else to post this. But I just want to tell you how much I love your books. Your newest one the most, I lost a friend in the recent bush fires and I have been struggling with how to deal with that. Your book helped. Alot! I may be currently situated in the Burbs! But I am Country at heart! Reading your books seem have unearthed a deep love for a place I have not spent much time in. I feel a strange pull towards the country! I’m trying to find a way to get out of the Sky Scrapers. Your books are just adding fuel to the fire that’s burning in me (Pardon the pun). I wish there was a way that I could express just how much your books mean to me! You’re a bloody Ledged! Keep it up! Hope to meet you some day!
Hi Rachael
I have just finished “The Cattlemans Daughter”. For me, this book was by far the best of your books. Althought our lives are somewhat different, I find that I related to Emily in more ways than one. Her journey to finding herself was very similar to the journey I am on at this stage in my life.
I also thought the “alternative country” approach that you took with the book was perfect. As a Mother of 2 daughters myself, I was especially affected emotionally by the spirituality and intuition of Meg. Her emotional bond with her Mother pulled at my heart strings!
You have an amazing talent for finding a realness in your characters which I am sure relates to many of us. I look forward to many more of your stories.
Keep up the good work!
Love and light,
Sara

Hi Rachael,
I just finished reading your latest book ” The cattlemens daughter” and enjoyed it immensly. The storyline with Emily and Luke got me in and I just had to keep reading. I want to thank you for writing awesome novels and keep it up. Look forward to another book in the near future.
Just a short email to say I have read all your books in the last 3 weeks, and I loved them so much I just could’nt put them down. Look forward to your next book.
Thanks so much for these wonderful books.
Rachael
I am in the midst of reading your book, The Cattleman’s Daughter. I love your writing and I especially love your humour. I have not read any of your other books, but after I finish this one, I intend to read another straight away as I just can’t put this one down.
Thank you for writing such wonderful books and keep up the writing for your fans.
What fantastic books you write. I have just finished the latest “The Cattleman’s Daughter” and it was just as great as the others. I cannot choose a favourite, they are all different in their own right but all give a real account of true to life country stories and while they are fiction draw on real experiences of the bush people. I am a country girl (NSW) born and bred. I love your writing, keep it up. Can’t wait for the next one.
