Alive and Kicking

Â
John’s footy team is into the finals after a thrilling win against Mt Pleasant on the weekend!
The man behind the camera capturing the action is Matt Newton.
Matt took the author shot of me years ago that features on my novels. I’ve aged since then after two kids. I’m no Cher — that’s for sure!
It’s been a few years, but now Matt’s back in our lives with Roar Film director, Steve Thomas who is making an SBS Independent documentary called Alive and Kicking.
The four-part series features four Tassie country footy clubs including our wonderful Woodsdale team.
Look out for it in March 2008 on SBS where you’ll see yours truly and my hubby John … (maybe wearing a G-string) It is SBS mind you … which stands for ‘Sex Between Soccer’.
