Holiday Heaven

We took a few days off last week to enjoy school holidays on Tassie’s stunning East Coast.
We took pups to train and Blossum for the kids to ride on the beach.
When I saw this image of me and my little two year old, it’s little wonder I love being an author in this state.
Having the pony on the beach reminded me so much of the final scene in my new novel The Rouseabout.
That sunny day with my family on the beach prooved to me dreams can come true.

Hi Rachael,
Know of any other little sh(i)tlands that are bombproof and quiet to ride? We are looking for something for our 20mth old for xmas. the pic looks gorgeous & even nice weather for a change
Hi Eliza,
Blossom was unbroken when our friend Lu got her and quite nervous. With time and retraining she’s learnt to trust us and is very reliable. So, no don’t know of any little sh(i)tlands – but if you found one with a sweet nature you could do the training yourself. Sorry I don’t have any leads there.
Cheers, Rach
Hi Rachel,
Ever since reading your first book at the begining of this year, I am an avid website watcher of yours… I love your pics, especially the one with you facing the ocean/hills with your lovely son….
Thanks for sharing your life with us!
