King of Country to King of Jazz in a single day

What an experience! One night we’re singing Lee Kernaghan songs as loud as we can at the Gold Coast’s Outback Spectacular — the next night we’re toetapping to trumpet playing legend, James Morrison at the the Brisbane Writer’s Festival opening.

Bundy one day, champagne the next.

Life don’t get any better (or confusing) than this!

This whole experience is a world away from our lives on the farm!

The Outback Spectacular was crammed with the culture I love (albeit in a very polished and touristy way).

There was nothing fake about the staff and performers, though!

The riders and horses were top notch and everything was underscored with the best in country music — go Lee!

With 1000 people seeing the show every night for six days a week, I’m so glad this country theme park is succeeding in the heart of Gold Coastville! (And oneday I hope they’ll stock my books!)
